Welcome to The Guinea Pig Blog

by Whitney Smith on November 23, 2009

guineapigHave you ever wanted to try something radical (no, we’re not talking cliff diving or speed racing), but didn’t have the time or was worried about the outcome? The SPM staff is here to try it for you, and write about it along the way.

Introducing the Guinea Pig Blog – a new blog where our writers will put their endurance, courage and sanity to the test to spare you the pain of doing so yourself. We know that as college students there are a million things you want to try but never get around to, and that the ASU campus provides an entire realm of possibilities for us to test our strength and daring (so to speak)…

Every wondered what it would be like to spend a full 24-hours in the Hayden Library? Love to think you could live without Facebook or Twitter for a week? Are you a caffeine addict who wishes you could live without that morning cup of coffee (not to mention your afternoon, late afternoon, and evening cups…)?

You might think we’re crazy, but the truth is that the Guinea Pig Blog exists for you! Simply laugh about our adventures when we’re finished or decide if it’s worth it to try one out for yourself.

Got something you want us to try? Leave a comment and we just might do it!

Now buckle up, because it’s going to be a bumpy ride…
