Move aside, Pandora, there’s a new music player in town.
Imeem.com is the simplest site on the web to listen to the music you want, when you want. You know when you want to work out and simultaneously listen to the entire “Circus” album by Britney Spears? Or you hear a friend talking about a new band and you want to obsessively listen to the entire album before you decide if it’s worth the $9.99 on iTunes?
Readers, the solution is here! While Pandora is a great option to get a fix for a specific type of music, Imeem lets users pick specific artists, songs and albums to listen to in their entirety, with less commercials to boot.
Users simply create a profile and then are free to listen to whatever new album they’re itching to sample, create playlists to post to twitter or imbed in a personal blog, and even upload their entire music library so they have easy access to it when their iPods die and they’re stuck in class for another hour.
Too lazy for all that work? Imeem creates custom playlists for users based on the artists and songs they choose to listen to, and even lets them know when bands they might like are playing in their area (like Ingrid Michaelson in Scottsdale at Martini Ranch on Oct. 2, or Citizen Cope at the Marquee on Sept. 25).
Stream all the music your ears can handle for free, or download albums and songs with a simple click when you tire of using your laptop as an MP3 player. And another favorite perk to love? Every Tuesday, Imeem offers up a new song users can download for free — that’s one word no one’s tired of hearing.

Saddly no, Imeem has been taken over by Myspace Music and now most of your playlists or songs you really liked are now gone. I hate it, I had over 80 songs in one playlist to have it come up on Myspace music with 2 left on my playlist.
imeem is just being mysterious or it s not just working , cant register talkless of sighning in , could you just make it a bit simpler
